Lip Filler

What is Lip Filler?

Lip fillers are a popular cosmetic treatment designed to enhance the volume and shape of your lips, offering a fuller, more defined look. This non-surgical procedure uses substances like hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the body, to achieve beautiful, plump lips. Lip fillers can add volume to thin lips and help create a more balanced and symmetrical appearance.

Does it hurt?

The question that’s on everyone’s mind! While each person's experience of pain varies, we strive to reduce discomfort as much as possible. We begin by applying a strong topical numbing cream to the lips prior to the procedure, and the filler itself contains lidocaine to further numb the area.

Following the treatment, the lips may be swollen, tender, and somewhat painful for about three days due to injection-related inflammation. This discomfort gradually subsides within the first week as the swelling diminishes. During this time, ice packs and over-the-counter pain relievers can provide relief.

What to Expect Afterwards?

Day 1: Lip filler injections can cause significant swelling around the lips for the first one or two days after the procedure

Day 4: Bruising on the lips may appear around the fourth day. You may see the formation of bumps inside the lips as well. However, these issues will resolve by the end of the first week

Day 7: Lip swelling is starting to subside, and at this point, your lips should look and feel their best.

Day 14: A noticeable reduction in swelling will ‌occur within two weeks. You may see the true results of your lip filler procedure.
